Report – Zohreh Sadeghi and Mohammed Naseri’s Murder

Ramin sent many messages and calls before executing the murder. On November 6, 2022, she first told Khodakaramrezaei to leave her alone according to the protection order. Throughout November and December, he continued to call her from various numbers, including nearby hotels, KOMO News conveyed. Sadeghi blocked all private calls in an action to prevent the stalker. 

The protective order also said that Sadeghi had just undergone back surgery, limiting her mobility and making her fear that she might respond to a crisis. Sadeghi wrote All of this has caused me great sorrow and pain, and now I suffer from a deep fear for my safety. It has affected my recovery,’ according to KOMO News. I have not been able to open the curtains in my room for fear that Ramin is outside watching me.’ 

On December 20, 2022, Khodakaramrezaei came to the couple’s home to deliver flowers after Mohammed Naseri had left, prompting Sadeghi to call the police. In the protection order petition, Zohreh Sadeghi wrote ‘Khodakaramrezaei has fits of rage and is delusional. These delusions make me fear for my life and the lives of my dearest ones.’

According to a news release published on the police website, Redmond Police responded to a report of shots fired in a house in the 16700 block of NE 89th St. at around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023. Three people are deceased after a suspected stalker smashed into the home. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who lived in the home lying on the floor. 

Officers pulled him out, where they found he had been shot, the release says. It also said officers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) lifesaving efforts until paramedics arrived. Unfortunately, the victim surrendered to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, early Friday morning, the crazed fan climbed through a window of the couple’s suburban residence in Redmond, about 15 miles east of Seattle, and opened fire, killing Sadeghi and Naseri before turning the gun on himself. Sadeghi’s mom, who was also at the home, managed to escape to a neighbor’s house to call the police, according to reports. 

When authorities arrived, they found Naseri lying in the front yard with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to an outlet. She was also given CPR but was pronounced dead at the scene. Sadeghi and Khodakaramrezaei were found dead inside the home. The attacker died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after harassing the podcaster for many months, a Redmond police spokeswoman said Friday.
